Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of maayugs.com and its subdomains, the Maayu Command Window (“MCW”) and our web forms (together, the “Site”), operated by Maayu Government Solutions Inc. (“MaayuGS,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About us and no government endorsement

MaayuGS is a private company. We are not part of, and are not endorsed by, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Labor or any other government agency. References to government programs describe programs our services can support and do not imply endorsement. TAP Coach is a Maayu service and is not an official government product.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

4. Our services

We provide career preparation, job matching and employer connections for service members, veterans and military families; veteran-hiring support for employers; employment programs for agencies, schools and veteran organizations; and AI solutions. Specific services, fees (if any) and responsibilities are set out when you enroll or in a separate agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.

No guarantee of employment. Hiring decisions are made by employers. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, compensation or any particular result.

5. VA benefits and other professional advice

MaayuGS does not prepare, present or prosecute claims for VA benefits and is not accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to do so. For help with a VA claim, contact a VA-accredited representative, such as a Veterans Service Organization representative, attorney or claims agent. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, tax, medical or benefits advice.

6. AI-generated content

The Site and our services use artificial intelligence, including the MCW and AI-assisted résumés, profiles, recommendations and interview practice. AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Review everything before you rely on it or share it, and make sure any résumé or application you submit accurately reflects your own experience, qualifications and clearances. A person is available whenever you want one.

7. Information you provide

• Provide information that is accurate and that you have the right to share.
• Do not submit another person's information without their permission.
• Do not submit Social Security numbers, service records, medical or financial account information through the Site's forms or the MCW. Share service records only inside TAP Coach.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you provide.

8. Calls, texts and email

If you ask us to contact you, you agree that we may reach you by the method and at the details you provide (including calls and text messages, which may be sent using automated technology) about your request and the services you take part in. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can also opt out of any communication through our contact form.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to harass anyone
• Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your military service or affiliation
• Submit spam, malicious code or automated requests, or scrape or harvest data from the Site
• Try to break, probe or bypass the Site's security, or interfere with its operation
• Try to make the MCW produce harmful, misleading or unlawful content, or extract its underlying instructions
• Copy, resell or reverse engineer the Site or the Maayu technology

10. TAP Coach accounts

Candidate accounts are created in TAP Coach (tap.maayugs.com), which has its own terms and privacy notice presented when you sign up. Keep access to the phone number you use to sign in secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.

11. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos and software) are owned by MaayuGS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Maayu technology, including U.S. Patent 11,501,259, is licensed to MaayuGS by Maayu Inc. You may view and use the Site for your personal or internal business use only. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

12. Third-party sites

The Site links to websites and services we don't control, such as SBA.gov, TAP Coach and employer sites. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAAYUGS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, WAGES OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaayuGS from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms or of anyone's rights.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

17. General terms

• Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept it.
• Suspension. We may suspend or end access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Site, except where a separate written agreement applies.
• Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
